TheoEd Orlando 

September 24, 2023

On Sunday, September 24, 2023, we hosted TheoEd Orlando at the beautiful St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Orlando, Florida. We welcomed over 300 congregants and community members to hear talks that inspired us to think deeply about our journey's of faith, inclusivity and how we are to be as the church. Our speakers for this event were - Brian McLaren, Jacqui Lewis, Luke A. Powery, twin brothers Cliff and Clay Price, and Lydia Muñoz. Thank you to the St. Luke's UMC staff for being amazing hosts and we look forward to future collaborations with them!

TheoEd Austin 

February 5, 2023

On Sunday, February 5, 2023, we hosted TheoEd Austin at Stateside at the Paramount Theatre in partnership with Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church!  This historic venue provided an exciting space for our in-person and online attendees to enjoy our five amazing speakers. This years speakers - John Pavlovitz, Chauncey Diego Handy, Kara Powell, José R. Irizarry, and Lisa Sharon Harper pushed us to carefully examine how we interpret scripture and reimagine a more inclusive church .

TheoEd Atlanta 

September 18, 2022

On Sunday, September 18, 2022, we hosted TheoEd Atlanta at Center Stage Theatre in Midtown, Atlanta!  This beautiful venue provided a vibrant space for our in-person and online attendees to enjoy our five amazing speakers. This years speakers - Kristin Du Mez, Robert Wright, Jennifer Carlier, Gary Mason, and Jim Wallis - inspired us to reexamine our histories, leadership, and inclusivity in the church.

TheoEd Charlotte 

February 27, 2022

On Sunday, February 27th, 2022, we took TheoEd Talks on the road for the first time! For our first event outside of Atlanta, we partnered with Queens University and First Presbyterian Church of the lovely and historic city of Charlotte, North Carolina. Our diverse speakers – Liz Clasen-Kelly, Yolanda Pierce, Miroslav Volf, and Otis Moss III – brought profound reflections on home, creation, and justice to the stage. In addition to these excellent talks, our audience had the opportunity to hear Rev. Dr. Moss preach at First Presbyterian that morning.
